Adam Bishman was born in Germany in 1824. He came to America in 1846 and settled in Otisco in 1856. When the railroad was built through Otisco and completed in 1879 the post office was located in his home. He remained the Otisco Postmaster until 1892. Number of sheets: 24

Fluting Iron. Material: metal. Size: (a and b) 3 1/4" W. x 6" L. x 3/4" deep. Description: heavy cast iron with loop handle at top, working sides grooved as in a fluting iron; front side stamped: "Made By Henry A. Doty, Janesville, Wis., Pat'd, June 18, 1872". Irons fit together.

Description: mahogany finished hardwood box with four wooden bars along head and foot sections; nine wooden bars along each side; two wooden slats and four legs at base; support between front and back sections; wooden panel on one end.

White Stoneware Dinner Plate. Material: ceramic. Size: 9 3/4" diameter. Description: white stoneware plate - raised white on white wheat pattern encircles edge - stamped on reverse: "Granite, R. Cochram & Co., Glasgow".
