1983-1998 Janesville Community Chest solicitor lists. Each year the Janesville community was divided into about 30 routes and volunteers were recruited to canvass neighborhoods or send notices to community members asking for contributions to the Community Chest. After 2013 the Community Chest ceased operation and transferred their funds to the newly formed Janesville Area Foundation; on January 7, 2014 the Community Chest checking account was closed at the Janesville State Bank, and on September 5, 2014, business records were transferred to the Waseca County Historical Society by the last acting JCC secretary, Barbara Ahlman.
