1989-2013 Janesville Community Chest annual collection cards listing the organizations to be recipients of community contributions; these cards were sent to community members and businesses to be returned to the Community Chest Board with their contributions; after 2013 the Community Chest transferred their funds to the newly formed Janesville Area Foundation; on January 7, 2014 the Community Chest checking account was closed at the Janesville State Bank, and on September 5, 2014, business records were transferred to the Waseca County Historical Society by the last acting JCC secretary, Barbara Ahlman.
