Some descriptions of the French town he was stationed near as well as local businesses. Letters addressed to Marguerite in Waseca, Winona and Olivia. A photo of several young men posed near their barracks identified as "Bakery Co. 344" is found in Marguerite's photo album #75.13.5.36, page 67.
