Number of sheets: 20 1918-1920 Personal penpal correspondence to Marguerite Herbst from Sgt. Michael Stanley Gozesky an Oregon soldier stationed at Bakery Co. 344 in France during World War I. Some descriptions of the French town he was stationed near as well as local businesses. Letters addressed to Marguerite in Waseca, Winona and Olivia. A photo of several young men posed near their barracks identified as "Bakery Co. 344" is found in Marguerite's photo album #, page 67.
