Sarah Ann Taylor Morrill, the matriarch of the Morrill clan in Waseca County. Sarah was the mother of Sarah Jane Morrill Hawkins, Henry Morrill, James Morrill, Fred Morrill and Frank Morrill, all of whom lived in Alton Township and/or Janesville and are buried in Janesville Cemetery. Born in Vermont, Sarah Ann married Simeon Morrill in 1844 and later migrated to Wisconsin and finally settled in Minnesota.
