Porch Column Pedestal Base of Everett Mansion. Material: wood. Size: 18" x 18" x 26" H. Description: white painted wood pedestal with four paneled sides in the classical style. Used as a column support on the front porch of the Everett mansion in Waseca.
The Everett mansion was demolished in 1958. This pedestal base was one of the structural elements saved. Ward Wendt, Janesville collector of vintage and antique artifacts was able to salvage numerous elements from the Waseca Everett Mansion in 1958. This column pedestal was purchased from Mr. Wendt's estate sale after his death.
