Charles and Ellsworth Evenson in One-Horse Buggy. Material: paper. Size: 8" x 10". Description: black and white reprint of a small original; two boys seated in a buggy drawn by a horse identified as Barney; Charles Evenson is the driver and his younger brother Ellsworth is seated next to him; in the background is a barn, likely painted red with white trim; a small outline of a cow is on the right side of the barn indicating that cattle are housed on that side; on the left side, behind the horse, could be seen the outline of a horse indicating the area of the horse stalls; the farm was located on the west side of the St. Olaf Lake road east of New Richland.
Parents of Charles and Ellsworth Evenson were Arthur and Alice (Sunde) Evenson. After the Evensons moved, the next family to live on the farm was the Palmer Cassem family.
