Navy Nurse Garrison Cap. Material: textile, metal. Size: 4 1/2" x 11". Description: navy blue with a fore and aft style, top pleat, turned up sides and tapered ends crossing the front, and a curtain overlay on the right side; faille lined with a leather sweatband; insignia on cap denotes rank of lieutenant and U. S. Navy Nurse Corps.

Lt. (j.g.) Esther Johnson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Iver Johnson. Esther was married to Lt. Horace Chamberlain of California on June 24, 1945 at the Vista Lutheran Church of New Richland.
