Lt. (j.g.) Esther M. Johnson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Iver Johnson and Lt. Horace Chamberlain son of George Chamberlain were married in the Vista Lutheran Church on June 20, 1945. Rev. Albin Larson officiated. The bride's sister, Agnes (Mrs. Harold) Priebe and M. C. Stanwood, friend of the groom, were attendants. Carl I. and Bertil Johnson, brothers of the bride were ushers.
The groom's grandfather, A. J. Chamberlain operated a general store in New Richland in 1890s.
