Hagen, the grandfather of Pearl Winter; photographed by A. Moestue of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Pearl Hauge Winter is a descendant of F. L. Hagen.
Fred L. Hagen (1844-1918) married Mary and later moved to Janesville, Minnesota and owned the Hagen Hardware Store in the late 1800s and early 1900s. Other owners of Hagen hardware were great-uncles of the donor, Walter Hagen and Percy Hagen who operated with the name Hagen Bros. Hardware.
