Donor is the daughter of Alfred Winter and Pearl Hauge. Alfred was the son of Rev. Martin Winter of Janesville, Minnesota. Descendants of Martin and Margaret Winter are still in Janesville. Ray Winter is the owner of the Indian Island Winery. The donor, Rebecca Winter Eldridge and three of her siblings were born at Waseca Hospital. They moved from Janesville to California in 1961. One sister of the donor, Barbara Winter taught high school subjects in the area and was married to Robert Hinrichs, a local implement dealer.
