Description: golden oak case holds a clock face with 12 Roman numeral hours encircled by the 31 days of the month; three metal pointers circle the face indicating the hour and minute of the day as well as the day of the month; the clock face is covered by a hinged circular glass door; the clock is set in an octagonal case and encircled by eight oak plain medallion caps; the octagonal case is attached to a rectangular wooden hanging case; under the clock face is a small wooden hinged door inset with glass and printed in gold with the word "Regulator", a series of numbers and letters are hand-scratched into the inside of the door, "MN0810000DH05074"; (a) an ornate pendulum hanging from a hook can be accessed inside; (b) silver clock winding key. Stamped on the back of the clock case is the name of the dealer, Herman Slider, Jeweler & Optician, Janesville, Minn.
