Description: pink plastic jointed figure of a girl; brown attached fiber wig with metal barrettes; facial features include painted eyebrows, pinkened cheeks and darker pink lips; brown glass eyes with long brown eyelashes that open and close; attire includes white lace-edged panty, white sheer camisole bodice front, (c) yellow pleated dress with a white collar and yellow ribbon streamer extended down dress front and embroidered with a tiny pink flower and green leaves; (a) white felt double-breasted coat with four white buttons and belted at the back waistline; two attached white felt mittens, (b) white felt bonnet that ties under chin with white satin ribbons; black plastic shoes with straps, white nylon ankle stockings.
A wardrobe handsewn by donor's mother, Blanche Gedosch, consists of #8.22.4 a yellow felt coat, white felt tam with ribbons, pink dress, pink pajama, pink panty; pink sunsuit, white and red sunsuit and green checkered cotton short and blouse set. This wardrobe was made to fit both the Ginny doll and the Betsy McCall doll #8.22.2.
