Description: yellow paper menu of the Curtis Hotel, Minneapolis Main Restaurant on Sunday, February 4, 1934; the Table D'Hote Dinner was offered for $1.00 and featured entrees of Planked Whitefish, Broiled Fresh Mushrooms on Toast, Lamb Chop Grill, Breaded Pork Cutlets with Fried Apples, Tenderloin Steak, Roast Long Island Duckling, Fried Spring Chicken, Prime Rib of beef or Vegetarian Dinner with all of the side choices and desserts; the newlywed Harvey and Gayle Gardner would have chosen from this menu on the Sunday evening following their wedding in 1934.
Donor is the daughter of Harvey and Gayle Gardner. Attorney Harvey Gardner practiced law in Janesville, Minnesota from the time he graduated from law school in 1932 until his death in 1972.
