About the author: Ms. Swenson had a 40 year career as a flight attendant for United Airlines and used much of her layover time in creative writing, most of which is based on memories of her her youth growing up in on a farm in the Vista Church community near Otisco in southern Minnesota. Many of her stories are based on actual experiences stressing moral values. Ms. Swenson and her sister, Marjorie are also known for their collaboration in the making of jams and jellies from their farm produce under the name of "The Vista Sisters".
