Thomas McShane was born September 17, 1836 in New York City; he moved to Franklin Township, Wisconsin with his family in 1843. In about 1863, he came to Iosco Township, Waseca County, Minnesota. In 1866, he married Ann McBride in Faribault. Thomas died February 13, 1907. Ann McBride was born in Ireland, June of 1846 and died July 16, 1889. Both Thomas and Ann are buried at St. Jarlath's Cemetery, Iosco Township.
