F.C. Lueck Token. Janesville, MN. Material: metal. Size: 7/8" diameter. Description: gold metal disk; relief print on one side: "Fred Lueck, Janesville, Minn."; print on reverse side: "Good For 5 cents In Trade."
All artifacts were found in the home of John Schmidt of Janesville, MN. John is a great uncle to the donor. Emil Felske was a family friend. John's father was George Schmidt. George was part of the Janesville Fire Department and owned a clothing store with Werdin. George also sold insurance. Janesville business: F.C. Lueck; Fred C. Lueck; Lueck's Beverages. Note with coin states that Fred C. Lueck Beverages was in operation from 1921 until 1951.
