L.A. Mildexter Token. Billiards, Janesville, MN. Material: metal. Size: 7/8" diameter. Description: gold metal disk; beaded border; relief print on one side: "L.A. Mildexter, Billiard Parlor, Janesville, Minn."; print on reverse side: "Good For 5 cents In Trade."
All artifacts were found in the home of John Schmidt of Janesville, MN. John is a great uncle to the donor. Emil Felske was a family friend. John's father was George Schmidt. George was part of the Janesville Fire Department and owned a clothing store with Werdin. George also sold insurance. Janesville business: L.A. Mildexter's Billiard Parlor. Note with coin states that the Mildexter Billiards Parlor was in operation from 1922 until 1924.
