Description: ivory hard cover padded book cover edged in narrow gold band of metal and printed in gold green and red on front, "God is Love'; gold colored clasp closure; tan spine gold lettering:, "Holy Bible". Contents: King James version of the Old and New Testaments printed on thin gold edged pages; handwritten presentation on front flyer page: "Presented to Amanda C. Conner by James W. Cleland, A token of friendship. June 1st 1877". (b) Lock of Hair. Description: approximately a 3" lock of fine brown hair tied with a fine thread and labeled in pencil, "Willie's Hair". (c, d) Newspaper Notices. Description: two small newspaper clippings, (c) a death notice of Willie E. Cleland dated September 21, 1881, and (d) a marriage notice of James Cleland and Amanda Conner October 3, 1877. a, b, and c were all found between the pages of the Bible.
