Description: Webster Student's Note Book; dated 1902-1916; notebook filled with notes: morning song, poems and short stories, songs, tables, dry measure conversions, how to measure lumber, Psalms, Cubic Measure. Started Seeding dated March 25, 1902; Started seeding March 29, 1905; Thrashed on Sept 25 and 26 1905 with August Wendtland (on home place). Many other farming related notes for 1905, 1906, 1907, 1908, 1909, 1910, 1911, 1912, 1913, 1914, 1915, 1916. Hunting Record for 1905 Rabbits and a Partridge. Horse Breeding Table with horse owners and dates. Other farm related notes.

All artifacts were found in the home of John Schmidt of Janesville, MN. John is a great uncle to the donor. Emil Felske was a family friend. John's father was George Schmidt. George was part of the Janesville Fire Department and owned a clothing store with Werdin. George also sold insurance.
