Janesville Trinity Lutheran Church Commemorative Plate. Material: ceramic. Size: 10 1/8" diameter. Description: white glazed porcelain with gold painted rim; three reproduced photographs of the Trinity Lutheran Church; caption at bottom: "Trinity Lutheran Church, Janesville, Minnesota, 1880-1980"; reverse side: gold backstamp: "Preston-Hopkinson Co., Appomattox, Virginia. Metal plate holder attached to back of plate.

All artifacts were found in the home of John Schmidt of Janesville, MN. John is a great uncle to the donor. Emil Felske was a family friend. John's father was George Schmidt. George was part of the Janesville Fire Department and owned a clothing store with Werdin. George also sold insurance.
