Janesville High School Cardinals Homecoming Button. Material: metal, textile, paper. Size: 2 3/4" W. x 4" L. Description: brown textured painted and plasticized football shaped oval; black dashed lines and lettering: "Janesville High School" - yellow ribbon and black ribbon extend below "football" - safety pin clasp on black cardboard back.

All artifacts were found in the home of John Schmidt of Janesville, MN. John is a great uncle to the donor. Emil Felske was a family friend. John's father was George Schmidt. George was part of the Janesville Fire Department and owned a clothing store with Werdin. George also sold insurance.
