Janesville High School Golden Bears Basketball Button. Material: metal, plastic. Size: 2 1/4" diameter. Description: gold enameled metal button; black and graphic: two basketball players fighting over the ball, basketball hop in background; black print across front: "Golden Bears, J.H.S."; reverse side: safety pin closure.

All artifacts were found in the home of John Schmidt of Janesville, MN. John is a great uncle to the donor. Emil Felske was a family friend. John's father was George Schmidt. George was part of the Janesville Fire Department and owned a clothing store with Werdin. George also sold insurance.
