Navy Uniform Jumper of Ronald Hecht. Material: textile, metal. Size: 17" x 24". Description: black or dark navy blue wool shirt with v-neckline, long sleeves with black satin inner underarm gussets; three red chevrons on upper left sleeve below white satin stitched eagle and specialty insignia; wide cuffs edged with three narrow white stripes, closure with two black buttons; wide square sailor collar with white stars on each corner, extends over the upper back; collar and neckline edged in three narrow bands of white; upper left bodice slash pocket; one upper right bodice inside pocket with zipper closure; inside back bodice white decorative stitching encircles yellow embroidered identification of R. R. Hecht.
Ens. Ronald R. Hecht died May 15, 1945. He was awarded the Purple Heart: “For Military Merit, Ensign Ronald R. Hecht, USNR.”
