Snow Storm 1935-1936. Material: paper. Description: black and white photograph of four people standing on a huge snow pile; car on road in front of snow mound. Identified as Margaret Matson on left and Mabel Anderson on right. In center might be Mabel's aunt Martha (Rudolph) Holtz and cousin Evelyn Holtz. The car is a 1929 Chevy and belonged to Mabel Anderson.
Note from donor: "Evelyn's brother Marlatte told of a time he and his dad, Erick, drove Mabel back to school here in a snowstorm. The 1929 Chevy car owned by Mabel Anderson was driven by Mabel to the west coast with Mary (Bishman) Krassin (Waseca Herald, July 30, 1931, page 3, column 3) and with a cousin and two friends in 1935 (Waseca newspaper, August or September.)."
