Oakwood Creamery Relocation. Material: paper. Description: two men standing next to Oakwood Creamery building before the move; building shown on wooden platform ready to be moved to new location. The men in the photograph are either relatives of JP Sommers' wife Anna (Buker and Menke) or are near neighbors in the border area between Woodville and Otisco townships.
Oakwood Creamery. Note from donor: "When trying to date the photograph we know that it is after 1912 because accession number LU120 is dated 1912 and the creamery is in business at that time. It is also before 1942, because the Avery engine that was used to move the building was sold from the JP Sommers farm around 1942."
