Chef's Recipe Substitution Guide. Material: paper. Size: 4" x 9". Description: white heavy card stock double thickness envelope open at both ends; the user can manipulate the card by pulling on a tab at the bottom to find the answer to a recipe substitution question; distributed to customers of Landwehr's Heritage House, a restaurant in Janesville located on the corner of 1st and Main Streets.
Landwehr's Heritage House was located in the historic Janesville Miner Building at 132-140 N. Main St., Janesville. Previously a dry goods store, with offices on the upper floor, it was built by Frank Miner in 1897. It served as a hardware store and men's clothing store for many years before becoming the Heritage House Restaurant owned by Diane and Roger Landwehr.
