Description: black and white postcard photograph of an unidentified, uniquely dressed, woman sitting on a horse next to the Waseca County Court House cannon, a black cannon on a cement slab with cannon balls beside it; text printed on cannon, can only make out "G.A.R." in center (Grand Army of the Republic, Civil War veterans); photograph taken at the corner of North State Street and 3rd Avenue N.E., on the grounds of the Waseca County Courthouse; in background is the Sheriff's residence / Sheriff's Office and jail, Waseca County Jail; the converted house that stood west of the Waseca County Courthouse; the former jail house was torn down in 1971.
