This Certifies that PFC YESS, Lawrence F. 905424 is entitled to wear the following ribbons: 1) Asiatic Pacific w/one star. 2) Victory Medal, World War II. 3) Pres. Unit Citation." Signed on reverse: "GR Lockard".

Lawrence Fred Yess served in the U. S. Marines, 28th Regiment, 5th Division Iwo Jima in the Pacific Islands, the site of one of the bloodiest, most famous battles against Japan in World War II.
