Contents: 94 pages, spiral bound, focusing on the identifications of the over 500 people pictured in a 1936 panoramic, professional photograph taken at the celebration of the Vista Community 80th Anniversary in 1936.

Photographer, William Stiehl (1887-1959), New Richland. Original photo 4.5" x 43". Enlarged 400 percent, divided into 5 equal parts of 14 larger pages for a small committee of individuals to study and make an attempt at identification over 75 years after the original photo was taken. Also included are historical photos and stories of the Vista Community, a map of Otisco & New Richland townships reflecting land ownership and population by ethnicity in 1879-80. Each section of the photo has a semi-transparent vellum cover which allows a number to be placed over each face corresponding to the identification of that person; names and unknowns are printed in a list at the bottom of each page.
