Waseca Journal, June 14, 1939 documents the wedding that took place at St. John's Lutheran Church in Waseca on 10 June 1939. The groom and his attendant wore white suits and dark blue ties. The bride was attired in a gown of white embroidered mousseline de soie over taffeta with a fitted bodice, short puffed sleeves and a square neckline. She wore a pearl necklace the gift of the groom. She wore a fingertip veil caught with roses and carried a bouquet of Johana Hill rosed baby breath and white pompoms. The bridesmaid wore a white dotted manquette over taffeta made with bolero jacket, fitted waistline and full skirt. She wore a shoulder veil of blue net caught with blue velvet ribbon. Her flowers were a bouquet of blue delphinium, baby breath and Briarcliff roses and she wore a blue rhinestone bracelet, the gift of the bride.
