Ensemble, Man's Coat
Black Frock Coat. Material: textile. Size: 19" W. x 44" L. Description: black fine wool coat, fully lined with black twill taffeta, sleeves lined with a beige striped polished cotton; two inside breast pockets; narrow collar and lapels; inside collar label, "Nicholson Bros. Minneapolis"; double breasted with two rows of 8 covered buttons; long sleeves with two covered buttons at each wrist; lower back center vent with two covered buttons at top.
This ensemble consisting of frock coat, trousers and top hat was given to the donor's mother, Mrs. E. F. (Ethel) Johnson by a Mrs. Barry who was a neighbor on "Winter's Point", Clear Lake in Waseca; Mrs. Barry was probably related to the Hartleys of Waseca.
