Description: cardboard floor and two walls form the basis for the ca. 1916 millinery store replica; balsa wood display units feature miniature women's hats and accessories such as flowers, feathers and ribbons; a plaster figure representing Jennie Rudolph Beckman, the proprietress of the hat shop stands beside the counter; a small white mouse huddles in the corner; accompanying the diorama are two enlarged copies of original photos of the shop's interior as well as an exhibit card.
