Rope Braider. Material: metal, wood. Size: 5" W. x 16" L. Description: metal braider attached to wooden brace; wooden handle attached to metal hand crank; three tiny gears around center large metal gear; three hooks at back; three section metal piece to hold rope; printed on metal: "Pat. Nov. 12 1901."

Found on the Bill Bauman farm in Otisco Township. Given to the museum by Esther Lindahl.
