Dan is posed seated in a wooden chair with his left arm resting on a high round table; Dan is wearing a three-piece suit with pinstriped pants; Dan’s suit jacket is open revealing the chain to a pocket watch in his vest pocket. The older child standing between Dan and his wife is wearing a long sleeved dark colored dress with a collar and white piping on bodice, cuffs and around the skirt base. In front of the child is the high round top table with a small wicker basket in front and a book being held open by the child. There is a lamb stuffed animal sitting on one of the pages. Dan’s wife is posed seated in a wooden chair wearing a long polka dot dress; buttons on the bodice; her hair is styled in ringlets.
