Walledom, Barbara Jean Loken (Clausen), Lois Brandvold (Clausen) and Natalie Lund (Johnson); young men in front are Gene Nelson, John Wilkenson, LaVerne Blowers, Luverne (Sonny) Johnson and Rodney Johnson.

The donor recalls that the girls were excited about wearing their first pair of "heels" for the occasion of their confirmation. The new style heel was call the Cuban heel in the 1950s, a shoe with a squared toe and about a two inch square heel.
