Description: gray paperboard container holding 42 cards; red and white paperboard lid fits over container; name of game, "Old Maid" printed on top with a graphic of a flirtatious, unattractive woman with a fan encircled by the letter "O"; other information on box: "45 cards of playing card quality, No. 3009, Made in U.S.A., Whitman Publishing Co."; each card has a red and white patterned back; 20 pairs of cartoon characters printed on the face of the cards such as "Glacier Gracie"; one card is "the Old Maid"; handwritten on outside of box: "Something to keep you busy while Wally's gone!" and each card has a handwritten message on it such as "She married her boss!" (d) Instruction card. (4 cards missing)
