This photo was found in the collection of the McBride Family in Janesville, Minnesota. Cecelia McBride was born in 1906 to James and Celia Foley McBride. She graduated from Janesville High School in 1924 and went on to college at St. Theresa's in Winona where she was trained as a legal secretary. She worked in the Twin Cities for a time before she moved to California. She returned to Janesville to help care for her parents and worked for Attorney Harvey Gardener of Janesville until her retirement. She lived in the home where she was raised, 504 N. Main St., Janesville until the last few years of her life when she resided in the Janesville Nursing Home.
