Augusta Trowbridge Jenkins. Material: paper. Size: 2 1/2" x 4". Description: sepia portrait image of a young woman identified as Augusta Jenkins; she is wearing a dark bodice, a white lace collar and a chain necklace; her dark hair is center-parted, braided and arranged into a crown at the top of her head.

Daughter of Ira and Judith Trowbridge. Augusta Maria Trowbridge was born Sept. 27, 1847; she was united in marriage Dec. 9, 1867 in Waseca, with J. H. Jenkins, a former resident of this county, but living in Winona at the time this portrait was taken. Her father Ira died in 1893.
