Hotpoint Electric Travel Iron. (a) Iron. Material: metal, textile, wood, plastic. Size: 3" x 6 1/2". Description: polished steel three pound iron tapers to a point; ivory painted wooden handle and wooden thumb rest attached by metal bracket with two screws to top of iron base; electrical receptacle at the back of the iron holds a Bakelite plug inside a short metal spring and a 72" L. cloth covered removable electric cord with a Bakelite electrical wall outlet plug; metal plate under cord outlet: "General Electric Hotpoint Cat. No. 159F68, 115 volts, 330 watts." (b) Merchandising Box. Material: paper. Size: 3" x 4" x 7". Description: black and red colored cardboard box to fit Hotpoint iron; "Hotpoint" logo printed on front and back; tiny man in red suit graphic on corner of boxtop; information on box side: "General Electric Hotpoint Calrod, Travel 3 LB. Electric Iron Cat. No. 159F68 115 Volts 330 Watts, Bridgeport, Conn. Ontario Calif. Made in U.S.A."; GE Logo on other end of box.
