Ivory Wedding Gown. Wolf Habein Co. Gown. Material: textile, metal, paper, Size: 15" shoulder to shoulder x 100" long from shoulder to floor to tip of extended chapel train. Description: ivory satin princess style floor length gown, long sleeves gathered at the shoulder and tapered to a point over wrist secured with six satin self covered buttons and loops; bodice gathered vertically on each side of the front panel to create bust line fullness; slightly dropped waistline encircled with piped edging, full skirt gathered to waistline below piping; modified sweetheart neckline trimmed with fancy embroidery and beaded pearls; satin self covered buttons and loops create long back closure from neckline to about 4" below waistline. Two white tags are secured to sleeve: manufacturer's tag notes it is the "Princess Fit Gown", Size 14, Style 105; Wolf Habein Co. store tag with handwritten information, "Princess, Size 14, Style 105, date J-8, Invoice 48193 and price $39.95".
This gown was purchased by Eleanor Mittelsteadt at an auction but has never been worn. It was donated by her granddaughter. Waseca business: Wolf Habein Co.
