Johnson Professorship of Electronic Communications. Established by the foundation, colleagues, and friends, this endowed professorship honors the lat Edgar F. Johnson, a distinguished 1921 alumnus and pioneer of radio communications. The professorship will strengthen and expand the teaching and research activities of the Institute of Technology's Department of Electrical Engineering, ultimately helping to meet society's increasing demand for better multimedia communications.
