Description: white cotton upholstered arm chair; brass nail head trim edging around arms and seat; decorative carving on curved wooden section of chair arms; four straight wooden legs; plaque inset in back rest: metal nail heads border a circular University of Minnesota emblem, "Regents of the University of Minnesota, 151"; gold plaque on back: "Presented to The E.F. Johnson Company, In recognition of its outstanding support together with other corporations and individuals to establish the Edgar F. Johnson Professorship of Electronic Communications, Institute of Technology, University of Minnesota, January 31, 1992."
