Sexton, also called Gene Sexton; born April 13, 1931, died December 14, 2004; the son of Leon Sexton and Emily Groh Sexton; graduated from Sacred Heart Catholic High School in 1950; played football; rose to Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts.
