Description: a black rubberized plate with the official identification of Rodney N. Searle, Speaker, House of Representatives, attached to a rectangular wooden block; a vertical wooden handle extends upward from the block.

Rodney Searle was a member of the Minnesota House of Representatives from the 16th District from 1957-1981; he served as Speaker of the House in 1979. Donor is Rep. Searle's son.
