Antoinette "Nettie" MIller Everett. Material: paper. Size: 5" x 7". Description: black and white oval portrait of Antoinette "Nettie" Miller Everett, also known as Nettie, daughter of Charles Miller, a Waseca merchant; and wife of Edward Addison Everett, owner with his father, William Everett and J. W. Aughenbaugh, of the EACO Flour Mill in Waseca. She was the mother of William Rinehart Everett and Constance "Connie" Everett. (See accession 66.01.12, Album 1 photo 1a).
The donor is the great-grandson of William Everett, co-founder with Aughenbaugh, of the E. A. Co Mill in Waseca County. The Everett home, built by William's son Edward Everett, overlooking the east end of Clear Lake, was a showplace in its time, a classic Victorian-style home, the Everett house was demolished in 1958; it was an architectural and historical loss to Waseca County.
