Floden Farm; Vivian Post Office. Elvin's father, John, bought the farm in 1926 and moved into the existing house on the farmyard and painted it white. This building was originally the Vivian Post Office. The building had been moved onto the farmyard by a previous owner and converted into a house. A new house was built in 1939 and the former post office was divided into two pieces and moved to new locations on the farm. One piece became the granary and the other piece became the garage. The granary was painted red and garage remained white. Both buildings were dismantled and burned circa 1970. The full history of the Floden property is attached to the agreement form.
