1920 Approximate
1920s Faucet. Material: metal, porcelain. Size: 11" x 12 1/2" x 8" H. Description: iron faucet; two white porcelain levers labeled hot, cold; one white porcelain cross handle labeled city.
Removed from a building in downtown Waseca by Jansen Plumbing. Removed 25 years ago on a plumbing / remodeling job. As per Don Hooper The idea of having a separate hot cold and city faucet dates back to when city water was just newly being routed to homes when most water was sourced from wells. Once most water was provided by city lines, there was no need for a separate City water inlet.
