World War II Soldier's First Aid Kit. Material: metal. Size: 4" x 2". Description: olive drab green metal case stamped on the top: "First Aid Packet, US Govt, Carlisle Model, To open pull tape, red color indicates back of dressing, put other side next to wound, Bauer & Black, Div. of the Kendall Co. Chicago"; stamped on back: "Crystalline sulfanilamide"; sealed packet inside.

Used by Arthur Carlson. This type first aid packet was carried by all field personel on their pistol belts.
