Reversible Cloth Red Riding Hood Doll. Material: textile. Size: 4" x 15". Description: pink cotton face and body embroidered with blue eyes and red lips, dressed in red cotton hood and long blue cotton dress edged with flowered print and red and white rick rack; skirt when lifted, reveals a second doll with a similar face, gray yarn hair and dressed in a flowered print long dress, green taffeta cap and white lacy apron; the two dolls are filled with soft cotton and represent the fairy tale characters of Red Riding Hood and her Grandmother.
Played with by Dorothy Gigeay's daughters in the 1950s. This doll was made by their aunt, Nellie Hodgkins Priem.
